What a day yesterday was!! I was lucky enough to spend some time with a dear friend - Marsha at Pandula Arts Creations. We talked designs and relaxed as only friends of almost 20 years can. I was able to bead and she was able to work on her amazing baskets!!
I found this amazingly simple - fun - food creation on FB. I am not really sure where/who the photo came from originally, but wouldn't this be great for your table at the holidays??
For the rest of today I am getting the final touches ready for my class tonight and try to finish my Angry Birds bracelet!!! What do you have planned for today? Anything creative??
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today's newest listing is simple, but wonderful to look at. It would match just about EVERYTHING!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am hoping that today I can finish this bracelet and get it listed in the morning!! Please come on over to my Fan Page or Google+ page throughout the day to watch it grow !!

Today's Featured artist is: derekcollins. For over 20 years this amazing artist has been creating these beautiful paintings! I am simply amazed at the depth and colors these paintings have. This one reminds me of home in Northern California on a bright spring morning!! Please go check out this wonderful studio and remember to always support handmade artists!!
Well, it is Tuesday and I have already been working away this week! I am always surprised at how fast time flows!! I was able to finish my Abalone bracelet last night and get it listed...this one has really gotten a lot of attention!! I am surprised, for me I wasn't sure people would like it!! BUT, one thing I have learned is that no matter what I make I have always tried to create things that I would willing give as presents....that means that I know the quality and creation is high enough for ME to give to someone!!
What do you give as gifts? Is there any ONE thing you 'fall back on' when you need a gift to give?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, here it is!!! I think that it turned out amazing!! YES, I actually bought the clasp first and was inspired to create something that would go WITH the clasp!! Did I do it?? DO you like it?
And, if you would like, you can see the 'making of' video!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And what happens when I finish one creation? I get to start another!! Here are my new colors... Please come on over and watch the creation grow on my
Fan Page or Google+ page throughout the day !!

Here are a few more creations from the Prima Blog Team supplies. These are all very simple, but, they are also wonderful to make for gifts! Remember, you can go to most of your local craft stores and buy these supplies or you can go on-line ( Prima Bead) and order them!!
Simple earrings....
And another Kraftydora Bracelet (my cute name for them). I know that this one is silver and gold, but I really liked the GOLD showing through the silver beads... weird, but for me, it works!!
Here is a question for you....what do you think I should do with these? List them and sell them? Give them away? Auction them off? Ideas??

The winner has been announced......was it you? Come on over and check....CONGRATS to the winner!!

Today's featured artist is a dear friend of mine!! Marsha Knox of Pandula Arts Creations (Earth Baskets). She and I have been friends for almost 15 years!! When I first met her she was not very 'crafty', artsy maybe, but not really 'crafty'. I talked her into trying some cross stitch and a monster was awoken!! In the years since she has excelled in cross stitch, crochet, knitting (socks of all things), fiber weaving and now, she is an amazing pine needle basket weaver!! I have her baskets all over my house - and LOVE it!! There is a basket to hold my phone on my bead tray, one on my table to hold our napkins and even one to hold out medicine on the shelf - and that is just a FEW! They are just so wonderful!
Almost all of them are organic and can - literally - be put in the woods and they will go back to nature!! They are made with pine needles, wood bottoms and often with cotton or sinew thread!! I am just so very amazed at her talent - and I get the honor of saying that I helped awaken it!!
Check out her beautiful creations on her blog and Fan Page. Here are just a couple....
Today I have some amazing news for everyone who likes my creations and my featured artists!! I have got all THREE of my prize packages together and ready for you to look at - TOMORROW - for my anniversary party!! As you can tell, we are ALL just exghausted with all this work!!
They are GREAT prize packages and FUN too!! I am going to do some BASIC entries and then there will be some BIGGER entries!! Just wait, I am sure you'll like it!!
BUT, you'll have to wait until tomorrow... mid day!!!

If any of you have been watching, I have been busy!! I have listed 3 new items in the last day or so, please click on the photos to see more about each listing....they are ALLLLLL wonderful!!

Today I want to leave you with this thought;
Don't take good friends, good health, or a good marriage for granted.
WOW, yesterday was a really wonderful day. I was actually able to bead for about 4 hours - UNINTERRUPTED!! LOVE'n it!! I am working on a sister to Ailani. Same color ranges, same type of flowers.... TOTALLY different. I can't wait to show you, but first, my new listing for today...

Yesterday I was HONORED by a dear friend of mine, Marsha from Pandula Arts. She wrote a post about who had inspired her over the years and I am SO very lucky to have her as my friend. She and I have know each other for about 17 years and between our kids growing up and our lives changing we have always stayed friends. If you would like to read what she wrote about me, please go to her BLOG and check it out.

And today I would like to close with this thought,
Friends are those we choose to carry us along the way. ~KM
As things really take off this week into the New Year I am reminded at how lucky I am to have some of the most wonderful friends. I have three close friends that each, in their own way, support and love me. It is because I have this love and friendship in so many different ways that I can continue to do my kreations day after day. They all bring such difference of opinions to each topic, yet somehow we always seem to be able to meet in the middle.
I thought I would start the New Year off right and give each of them their due.
First, there is Marsha from Pandula Arts Creations. I have known her the longest - over 17 years! She has a wonderful - amazing - talent for fiber weaving, but has dabbled in crocheting, knitting, pencil drawing, painting, pine needle basket weaving, and even beadweaving! Her patience and creativity always amaze me. She has mostly been self taught, which is amazing in itself! Here is one of my favorite creations of hers.
Then there is Kris from Aprons by MeMe. We not only found common ground in her love of crafting, but we also share the love of my Monster. I found Kris during a 'babysitter' crisis and it turned out to be a long and wonderful friendship. Her talent with a sewing machine amazes me. Her love of her 'babies' is something that I cherish. We have so much in common that we even started traveling together for craft shows and marketing each others items. Her support and friendship has been time enduring! Here is one of my favorites of hers.
And last but never least, Amber from Ambers Art Alley. She and I became friends over our love of our children. Her daughter was in my girl scout troop and we bonded almost instantly. Her constant friendship and support took me through many dark days when my hubby was deployed in Iraq. Our children share a special bond and act more like brothers and sister than friends. Her love of painting has blossomed over the past year, and is now more than just a 'side line', it is her passion. With a handed down easel and discounted paints she can make any scene into a work of art.... just think what is to come! Here is one of my favorites of her work (that I don't own, yet).
