12 Fascinating Friday 4/4/14 (My DRAGONFLY, a New Project, a Call for artists and a Give-A-Way)

WOW, another BIG day for me!  I get to show off MY dragonfly....yes, it is finished....and start a new project.  In between that I will be getting ready for tomorrows show!  I have to say, it has been almost 3 years since I did a show in public and I am wavering between being nervous and being excited!! I remember it all...every step of setup and take down...and I LOVE to interact with the public, but it has been a while.  Will people love my jewelry in person as much as they do on line?  Will they be grateful for my prices or resentful?  Will they like my style and designs?  Will they enjoy watching me working on a project?   So many questions and emotions all at once!  

But, what I do know is that my daughter (who also remembers everything) will be helping me set-up and with the start of the day tomorrow and my dear friend will be with me to enjoy the day and sell her baskets tomorrow too!!  So, no matter what happens it will be a WONDERFUL DAY!!

So, here is another teaser of what my blog will START to look like next week....

2 Fascinating Friday 3/28/14 (Last Plea for Votes, Prima Beads, Grandmother's Stash and NameCoins)

Oh my goodness, it is Friday and I am on the edge of my seat!!   I have been trying to get people to vote and SHARE the link for the #ArtFireWorks contest day and night!!  I am getting there - only about 85 votes behind the leader!!!  I can tell you that I am so very flattered by all the votes I have already gotten.  My life seems to be centered - right now - around this contest!!  I have to say, if it wasn't for the beads.....this lady would be CRAZY!!

Today's new listing is simply wonderful!! The Gold Plated Sand Dollar is from my grandmother's stash and I just love the way it matches up with the Swarovski Crystals and Gemstones!!  What do you think of it??

Today I am able to show off the last of my creations from this months Prima Blog Team creations!!  I saved this one for last because I actually fell in-love with it!  ALL the items are from Prima Beads and this is actually an easy necklace to make.  Also, even though the beads are plastic, the look is very vintage and wonderful.  It is easy to see the quality in these beads.  What do you think???  Would you make any of these?  Would you buy these creations???

0 Fascinating Friday 3/21/14 (Sneak Peak, The Blues and LovebugLullabies)

Today is just going to be a wonderful day!!  I am so excited about how many things I have going on.  First I want to show off just a sample of what is coming....

..... this is just ONE of the new logos/graphics that I will be using when my blog's new look is rolled out!!  I am just so excited!!  These graphics have all be designed by Trina Clark.  I have to tell you that I just love her art (you see it all the time)!!  She has been wonderful coming up with some new dragonflies, colors and 'beads' for my designer to use on my new site!!  

The designer....I'll leave that for the big reveal, but just let me tell you....he resume is very IMPRESSIVE!!!!!!

Now her husband has also joined her and this family is full of color and beautiful creations!!  You really have to go see all they have in this studio - it is full - and I am sure you'll find something for your own child, a gift, or just to brighten up your own home!! 0 Fascinating Friday 3/14/14 (Flowers and a New Project)

It is FRIDAY!!  Yep, the start of the weekend... and a long one for us!! It is spring break!! That means wonderful days with the kids....now if we can have the spring weather back....it would be perfect!!  I know that many of you are REALLY cold, but here it is 36 degrees!!  A couple of days ago it was in the 80's!!  But, we'll be back there soon!!!

0 Fascinating Friday 3/7/14 (Alhambra Dinner Theatre, Prima Beads Give-A-Way and Blogiversary)

Oh my goodness.  What a night I had!!  I was able to go to the Alhambra Dinner Theatre with my mom-in-law.  And boy did we have fun!! We saw I ought to be in Pictures Starring Richard Karn from Home Improvement. 

Dinner was AMAZING!!  The show WONDERFUL and then after the show we were able to actually meet Richard Karn!!!!  What  a fun evening!!

Many of you already know that I am participating in the 8th Annual Bead Soup Blog Party, but there was a little bit of a delay with getting the partners all up and ready, so I just found out who my partner was!  Out of 400+ people I was partnered with someone I have worked with before.....and who's work I soooo very love!!  I am so excited to be partnered with Kimis Jewelry and Gifts!!!!  Over the years we have inspired each other in our creations and I can't wait to do it again!!  Keep watching, I'll show you when I receive my soup and then n the reveal date I'll let you see what I made with it!! :)
