10 ArtFire Works for me because....

I was put a question, 

 

…and asked to write out my answer, so here, it goes!

ArtFire works for me because I have found that they cater in ALL WAYS to the ‘little guy’.  I have been selling my creations for many years in many different formats and so far my ArtFire shops have been the most profitable and most beneficial to me. 

There are many ways to compare the different on-line selling sites, but I would like to just focus on the WHY I think ArtFire is so wonderful!  When I first opened my studios, yes, I have 2 of them; I was amazed at how easy they were to set-up.  There are so many wonderful features in ArtFire that make it easy on the seller and the buyer both.  ArtFire not only supports us, but also listens to us, the artists.  Just some of the wonderful features offered are; Coupons and Discount codes, these can be used as a way to promote give-a-ways and entice buyers to find and buy from us.  Allowing each studio to have a gallery of past work and a place to blog, is just yet another added bonus. 

When I write my daily blog post I usually do a ‘featured artist’ of the day section.  And for me, I can’t think of a better place to find them then on the ArtFire  It is nice to find an artist, know if they are active in their studios (because of the ‘check in’ feature) and be able to read about them on their Bio Page.  There is no doubt in my mind that some of the best artists of our time have studios on ArtFire.

  

I would also like to tell you about how much it costs!  Yes, that is right, I want to talk about the money your will spend on your studio.  It is simple.  There is a set monthly fee that you agree upon when you sign up and….. wait for it….. that is ALL you will pay.  Many of the sites out there charge listing, re-listing, selling, and many other types of fees, but NOT ArtFire.  There is one fee and that is all.  Now, recently they have come out with a ‘bonus Convenience Add-on Feature Pack’, but you do NOT need to purchase this if you do not want to and it is not necessary to having the studio.  It is full of Add-on things that not everyone needs or uses.  So your monthly fee is the same, no matter how many items you have listed or how many sales you have.  Talk about an easy way to budget!

Finally I would like to say that throughout the years I have also been able to meet many new artists, crafters and just wonderful people.  Not all of them sell, or even sell on ArtFire, but I would recommend ArtFire to anyone that would be interested in starting or continuing their selling on-line – and I often DO recommend them.

Wicked Wednesday

Well, it is WICKED WEDNESDAY and we are only a few weeks away from Halloween!!  

Both my kids had their costumes already, although I still need a few 'accessories' for Aye's!!  I want it to be a surprise, so I wont be adding any photos until the first time they wear them.  But I will tell you what they will be....this year things happened so fast they are both 'commercially' bought costumes. 

Monster will be SNAKE EYES from the movie G.I.Joe.  And Aye will be a Native American Princess!!

A wonderful surprise this morning was that I have been included in another collection.  Ms. Monica from wertmanphotography has choosen some wonderful artists to show off the 'earth tones'.

Handmade Soap

OK, Ms. Mily from Crafty Mom Mily 75 has made something that is TOOO CUTE!!  I can just think of what my Monster or Aye would think if they went to open their bedroom door and found this EYE BALL!!  It is just amazingly cute!  Please check out her wonderful studio and remember to let her know where you heard about her!!

3 Wonderful Wednesday 12/21/11

OK, I am just about at the limit of crazy this month! Yesterday just about topped off my week so far!  I was sitting in quiet and piece when I got a call from Aye that Monster had gotten hurt.  I rushed down to the park (about a block away) and find him with a lump on his head and dirt covering his face!  Yep, he tried to jump OVER a bench and didn't make it!

So as he missed, hit the back and then flipped over onto the ground.  A quick trip to Solantic walk-in urgent care centers (who are starting to recognize us) and we found out that he has a moderate concussion! 

OMG!

  So then it was back home we went!

But I was able to list 3 more of my new strap bracelets - these are fun to wear or give.  At only $7.00 each and free shipping until the end of the year they are truly a bargain!

Then there was this wonderful surprise - from my WONDERFUL hubby - and it was a beautiful addition to our decorations!

Although I am allergic to all mint I still love the look of candy canes.  This wonderful neck warmer from MademoiselleMermaid's studio is perfect for the season.  You really need to go check out this studio, it is full of fun and beautiful items for just about every one's taste. 2 Terrific Tuesday 12/20/11

What a Terrific day yesterday was!  I spent the day with my kids!  We had a great lunch and played at the park for about 2 hours and then there was the afternoon of haircuts!  Yep, they both got 'cleaned up'!! I'll post those photos later!!!  

For today I have to show off a couple of photos of Monster!  This is from Aye's birthday party with one of Monster's friends!

Then there are these - they were taken on Sunday I guess his little body had just had enough!! And yes, I moved him to his bed right after taken these photos?!!?  :)

3 Fabulous Friday

Any many of you may have noticed there was no post yesterday!  My hubby were supposed to go out to dinner on Wednesday night for our annivasary, but then we went to a movie and since we had an overnight baby sitter we went to a hotel for the night!  It was nice and very QUIET!!  

I have to say, I can't wait for Monday.  School starts, life gets back to routine and sanity!  This summer has just been crazy!  I don't think we have ever been this busy or crazy!  

How has your summer gone?  Has it been busy?  Does it ever slow down??  It seems like each time life just raises the 'craziness' each time.
