8 Fabulous Friday

This week has been a trial for me - both in patience and in stress.  I thought I was used to the routine already - WRONG!  Yesterday I made such a mess with breakfast that I ended up having to throw out about 8 eggs that were 1/2 cooked!  YEP!  It is amazing to me that I can run a company without any problems but when it comes to my home life I am a crazy woman!  

But, I did get a chance to work on this new bracelet.  This one is only about 1/2 finished.  This this the foundation for - hopefully - what will be a much MORE elaborate design.  MAYBE!?!?!  It is one of those things that I am going to TRY to make look like the photo I have in my mind!

3 Fabulous Friday

Any many of you may have noticed there was no post yesterday!  My hubby were supposed to go out to dinner on Wednesday night for our annivasary, but then we went to a movie and since we had an overnight baby sitter we went to a hotel for the night!  It was nice and very QUIET!!  

I have to say, I can't wait for Monday.  School starts, life gets back to routine and sanity!  This summer has just been crazy!  I don't think we have ever been this busy or crazy!  

How has your summer gone?  Has it been busy?  Does it ever slow down??  It seems like each time life just raises the 'craziness' each time.

I have heard from may of you that you enjoy seeing my 'work in progress', so, here we go.  I have been working on my entry into the Artfire Beadweavers Guild current challenge.  I showed you the colors in a post on Monday if you would like to see those, but here is the first 44 rows.  I just love watching the design come into focus!  This will also be a bag/purse and there will be a lot of detail added after too, so please keep watching!!!

Today I have a 'beachy' studio to feature!!  This wonderful artist was in the gift industry, first owning a corporate gift company,  then starting beachgrasscottage from her passion and love of beaches.  With morning trips to find little 'bits' of the shore she brings the beach into your home.  These creations are both beautiful and functional!  Please go check out Ms. Curtiss' studio and let her know where you heard about her.  There are more places to find her listed below too!
