Wicked Wednesday / Taken Thursday

Well, somehow I missed my post yesterday.....sorry all!!  I have so much I have to do to get ready for our upcoming shows.  We still have about 10 days before the first one, but then it is busy every weekend until after Christmas!!!  Amazing how this time of the year books up so very fast!!!  I have been getting all my errands, housework and everyday things done first thing in the morning and then beading the rest of the day!  It is amazing how I bead and bead, yet there is always more to do....wow, that sounds like house cleaning!!!  UCK!!

So, since I missed yesterdays Wicked Wednesday I'll be featuring TWO artist!!!

First up is motherlodetoad.  She has a long line of artisans in her family....and it shows! with this SOOOO VERRRRY cute little Mouse!!  If you can't read the sign, it says, "Come to the Dark Side - we have cookies".  How WONDERFUL!!!  I just love many of her little creatures in her studio. 

Now for the 2nd featured artist.... SleepyHollowFolkArt.  I can't believe how TAKEN I am with this little house.  I could see the little 'creature' that would find this a wonderful home, can't you?  She loves to make things that look 'loved and lived in'.

So, it is back to the 'working board' today!  I just love to bead, so it really isn't work, but I guess I'll do the dishes before I disappear into the Swarovski Crystal world!!!

1 Wicked Wednesday

WICKED isn't the word for today....it should be WACKY!!!  I have some things planed today - mini shoot, listings, custom orders, and an after school play date to do....it WILL be WICKED or WACKY...let's see how it goes!

And now, on to some other news!!! I recently purchase a couple of items from katerinaart.  I featured her a few months back and I have just fall'n in love with her work.  I will show you just a couple of the items I received - remember, they are for Christmas and some of the people getting them might be looking!!!!  As always katerinaart shipped them quickly and safely and sent me a little extra for my Daughter!!!  Don't forget, she also has Calendars (I have one) for you too!

5 Wicked Wednesday

Amazing, it is Wednesday again!!  I am not sure if you all saw it or not, but I was VERY busy in my studio's yesterday.  I listed about 15 items in my DESTASH studio and about 6 items in my Beading Studio (in the clearance section).  I have more to list today...hopefully in both studios.  My goal....list 5-10 new items in each shop each day.  The DESTASH items are pretty simple, but my beaded creations (I found LOTS that wasn't listed when I was doing the show prep) are a little bit more involved. 

Also many of you have been following ApronsbyMeMe (Kris) and I on our #LINKLOVE Diet - Support Team Blog and for those of you that are following, thank you!  Kris has been doing very well, loosing several pounds each week.  For me, I have actually gained weight.  I started off by loosing 6 pounds the first week, but then I lost all will power.  As of today I am starting my Weight Watchers Tracking again.  I MUST loose weight.  If there was something, anything, that has shown me my true self it was the photos that we took at the show.  While I was editing them I really looked at myself and I DID NOT LIKE WHAT I SAW!  Then I did a little thinking back.  When my hubby returned 2 years ago from IRAQ I was in a size 14.  I am now in a size 24!  OH MY GOOODNESS!!!  How did I let myself go this much.  So, as of today, I am starting over and I hope that all of you either join me or simply encourage me - to do my BEST.  Please go visit the blog we (KRIS and I) started and read along with our milestones, encourage us when we need it and get your own encouragement from us when you need it....it is for all of us in our own way!

Now on to the HAPPIER part of Wicked Wednesday!  I have to start off with a collection I created last night.  I just love Humming Birds, so this one was harder to figure out which ones to put in.....please go check it out, leave a comment and 5 STARS if you can!

3 Wicked Wednesday

Well, it is WICKED WEDNESDAY and we are only a few weeks away from Halloween!!  

Both my kids had their costumes already, although I still need a few 'accessories' for Aye's!!  I want it to be a surprise, so I wont be adding any photos until the first time they wear them.  But I will tell you what they will be....this year things happened so fast they are both 'commercially' bought costumes. 

Monster will be SNAKE EYES from the movie G.I.Joe.  And Aye will be a Native American Princess!!

A wonderful surprise this morning was that I have been included in another collection.  Ms. Monica from wertmanphotography has choosen some wonderful artists to show off the 'earth tones'.  

I have also included one of my favorites from Ms. Monica's studio under the collection.  Please make sure that you leave a comment and some STARS!!!

Handmade Soap

OK, Ms. Mily from Crafty Mom Mily 75 has made something that is TOOO CUTE!!  I can just think of what my Monster or Aye would think if they went to open their bedroom door and found this EYE BALL!!  It is just amazingly cute!  Please check out her wonderful studio and remember to let her know where you heard about her!!
