1 Wicked Wednesday

WICKED isn't the word for today....it should be WACKY!!!  I have some things planed today - mini shoot, listings, custom orders, and an after school play date to do....it WILL be WICKED or WACKY...let's see how it goes!

And now, on to some other news!!! I recently purchase a couple of items from katerinaart.  I featured her a few months back and I have just fall'n in love with her work.  I will show you just a couple of the items I received - remember, they are for Christmas and some of the people getting them might be looking!!!!  As always katerinaart shipped them quickly and safely and sent me a little extra for my Daughter!!!  Don't forget, she also has Calendars (I have one) for you too!

1 Traditional Tuesday

It is Traditional Tuesday, the 7th of September, 2010.  

Over the weekend I was able to have LOTS of friends, family and neighbors over for several gatherings.  It was a terrific weekend with some of the best people I know.  Although I was OFF the internet and the COMPUTER most of the weekend I did do some 'soul' searching about my work, company and my family.  I haven't come to any HARD choices yet, BUT, they are in the works.    

In honor of Labor Day (yesterday in the U.S.) I wanted to show off the work of A Sroke of Jeanne-ius.  Ms. Jeanne is a very traditional painter, however, you can see a 'little bit' of her in each of her works.  I just love this one and think it matches with yesterday's holiday.  For those of us in the U.S., Labor Day is the end of summer - traditionally - and is usually celebrated the thoughts of cooler weather to come!  Please visit Ms. Jeanne's studio and see her work for yourself, I am sure you will love it!  Remember to Mark her studio as favorite and let her know where you found out about her!!! - You can also find her on her Fan Page - A-Stroke-of-Jeanne-ius

With school starting just around the corner and all of us going a 'little' back to school crazy I just spent the morning looking around ArtFire to find something I was TAKEN with enough to feature.....The problem is that I found 3 different items from three different artist and I just can't decide, so here they all are.

First up is a wonderful Black Cat that has just found out what BIRD houses have inside!  I just love the look on this cat's face....I know that my dear friend Kris from ApronsbyMeMe will just love this one....Kris collects birdhouses and this A Stroke of Jeanneius creations will 'jump' right out at her....

wouldn't it fit right in to your kitchen?? 

Then I found this wonderful shop full of Ann's Lotions and Potions.  We were featured together on one of the recent collections and I just love her items.  They are made naturally and BEAUTIFULLY.  I can always use more 'smellies'!!!  

And last, but never least is a bracelet that I am envious of!  Karen Olwen Designs does a remarkable job with this bracelet and the many others she has created.  It was very hard to just pick one of her designs.  Having done 'some' soldering in my work I know how much time and effort much go into each one of these 'works of art'.  Wouldn't the 'ladies of the round table' be envious??
