6 Talented Tuesday 9/23/14 (Tutorial Update, Purple Dragonfly and Blocks From TheHeart)

Is it really Tuesday already?  I am not sure where yesterday went...I guess I was so 'stuck' in the bead piles I didn't even notice!! But I was able to finish one creation, start a new creation and work more on my tutorial.  I can' believe how long that has taken me.  The tutorial has to be PERFECT if I am going to sell it!  And, I have found that I didn't get photos of EVERY step, so I have to go back and get a couple more photos now too!!  I am making it for someone who is a beginner to be able to use!! Want to see what I am making it for??  These earrings....

So please stick with me, I think once I get one down the others will go easier!! :)

And look what I finished yesterday!! I just love the way it turned out!! THANKS to Ms. Elfie - Painting from the Heart it was easy to create something beautiful to go with her hand painting!! Click on the photo to go to the listing (remember, everything is on sale)!!

2 What's New Wednesday 8/13/14 (Beautiful Ladybug, Dragonfly and Painting From The Heart)

So, how has your week been so far?  Have you been busy with LIFE and KIDS?? I know that I have been having such fun watching my kids run around and try to do all the things I have told them then need to do!!  Boy, they have so much to learn!! It is hard to think that my 'little' girl will be out on her own in 3-4 years!!! Then I think of my oldest son.  He is grown, already served in the military and off working and building a life for himself....Where have the years gone???

Last night I was able to finish, do a mini photo shoot, edit and list this beautiful Lady Bug!  I am so thankful to Ms. Elfie from Painting from the Heart for painting such a wonderful Lady Bug to work with!!

So, as always, when I finish a project I get to start a new one....it is a close tie to which I like best - finishing or starting!! So, I thought I would do a dragonfly this time - and this one is for you'all, I don't THINK I'll keep this one...well....uummm....

And YES, it is another Totem Stone!!  Here is what they all mean...

Yesterday I was honored to introduce fellow artist; Ms. Elfie Morgan the owner of Painting from the Heart.
Today I would like to tell you more about her journey.  When she first started painting she struggled with designs and the technique.  But as time went on she not only perfected her talent but she has excelled at it!! Her creations are all one of a kind and her original designs.  She is a self proclaimed perfectionist and it shows in the shadows, details and vibrancy of all her creations!

Please go check out all her links, Like her Fan Page, Favorite her Etsy shop and check out all her beautiful creations!!

6 Talented Tuesday 8/12/14 (Aye, Ladybug and Painting From the Heart)

Well, today is another beading day for me, but I will also be watching my daughter run around and try and get her laundry done!  She has a whole summer worth of things to clean up and organize before school starts at the beginning of next week!!  For me it is so funny to have her experience just a little of what I usually go through!! At 14 I am making her do it all (well, most of it) and she is surprised at how much there is to do!! But, for me - some vindication!! ha ha ha ha ha

My little girl is growing up!!

Although this is one of my older creations, I just love it.  It is so simple and easy to wear, but so wonderful!!  And just look at the price!! Just click on the photo to see more photos are find out about the listing!!

http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/product_view/1709265

Have you see how far I've gotten? Here is the finished center and the start of the strap!! Please come on over to my Fan Page or Google+ page, I post 'working photos' throughout the day!

I have a question for everyone... Can you please Help me by filling out this poll?  https://epoll.me/v/ACQmBS6I8Uo

Today I have the honor and pleasure to introduce a dear friend and fellow artist; Ms. Elfie Morgan the owner of Painting from the Heart.  I have known this amazing artist for many years and I am always amazed at her talent and great heart!

Painting on mostly wood - of all sized and shapes - she gives dimension and beauty to all her her creations.  The amazing ladybug that I am currently working on is just ONE of the three that I recently purchased from her....want to see them??  Aren't I LUCKY!?!?!?!

https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/paintingfromtheheart

Ms. Elfie signed up for an 8 week beginner class in 1991 that she saw advertised at an Open House for Folk Art Painting.  She had no idea that what she was signing up for would become her passion for the rest of her life!  Learning how to paint flowers, animals and landscapes she quickly developed a skill and look all of her own!! Now, 23 years later her talent shines through even more!!  In each of her creations you can see depth and life - no matter the subject!

Come back tomorrow and I'll show you even more of her creations and tell you more about Ms. Elfie!!
