5 Making Monday 12/15/14 (Birthday Girl, an AMAZING Gift and Fireworks Bracelet)

 Over the weekend my daughter celebrated her 15th birthday. 

Yep, on 12/13/14 she celebrated 15 years!!!  That is one she will always remember!  Although she is a mature and very responsible 15, she is also very young at heart....so are her friends!! Here they all are after a trip to Build-A-Bear.  And, YES, the boys both got My Little Pony Bears!!

I hope your weekend was as full of SMILES and SUNSHINE as mine was!!! 

Then, when I went to the post office I received this amazing necklace.  This is from not only a fan, but also a new friend.  I have watched this lady as her beadwork has grown and become so very wonderful over the last year or so.  I just can't tell you how PROUD and HONORED I am to own one of her creations!  And, it fits PERFECTLY!!  Just look at this beautiful beadwork - and that clasp.....amazing!!! I can NOT say thank you enough to Jessica Lane, I have to say that this is the FIRST beadwoven necklace that I have every been given!! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!

3 Frivolous Friday 12/12/14 (My Daughter, Fireworks and Give-A-Way)

Yesterday I took my beautiful daughter to get her birthday present....yep....she is turning 15!!!  Her present was to get her hair done - perm, cut and all!! But, she also got her 'bottom' braces done, so now she is 'bouncy' with her hair and in pain with her teeth!!  I have to say, having a girl that is growing up right before me has been a learning experience - to say the least!! But she is still young at heart and one of the best kids I know!!!  Here she is.....bottom braces and 'bouncy' hair!!!!

2 Making Monday 11/17/14 (Operation: That's My Dress, Pink Shell and GoFundMe)

Oh my goodness, what a weekend!!!  So many things happened!!  We were at hubby Army National Guard unit doing fundraisers over the weekend, plus a WHOLE lot more!!! On Sunday Ashley, monster and I were at the Operation: That's My Dress .  Ashley was able to participate in the Dress part and Monster was able to participate in the Foot Ball Party part!   Here is Ashley waiting for it all to start!!  I can't show you the dress....she wants it to be a surprise when she wears it for the first time.  What I can tell you is that is it PURPLE with sparkles and ruffles!!

The USO dance troupe entertained us and kicked off the event....

And then there was a fashion show with Miss Teen USA and Miss USA along with MANY other pageant winners!!

Then there were the dresses!!!!  Here is ONE of 4 rooms!!!!

Monster was able to meet Captain America and also Donovin Darius (and even get his autograph on a new hat)!!

What a WEEKEND!!!

These aren't new, but I thought I'd show them off anyway!!

4 Making Monday 11/3/14 (A Show, An Award of Merit and Addign Sparkle to the World)

Did you have a weekend that was as eventful as mine??  I was so far beyond busy!!!! But, it was all wonderful!!! My question is, how much do I show you today and how much do I keep for tomorrow???  HUUMMM, I think I'll show off my booth, and then tomorrow I'll show off ME!! Yep, that will work! 

My daughter went with me (like she always does) and let me just say that I was SOOOOO happy to have her help!! At 6am on Saturday morning (in the dark) with the temp and wind driving us to the hot coco, we set up!! 

 But even with wind gusts 30+ mph and very cold temps in the shade the show was fun and full of excitement!! We had an amazing weekend!!  There were so many people and music and food and.....

 And, of course, the biggest news....I won!!  Yep, I entered my Reaching Tranquility Miniature Dressing Screen into the Jury part of the show and I won an Award of Merit!!! Talk about 'walking on air' for the show!! So many people congratulated me - just as they walked by!!! WHOO HOOOO!

 

I don't have a new listing for you, but I do want to show you the 3 creations that got the most 'looks' over the weekend!! The first one drew everyone that walked by, they just had to look!! I can't tell you how many people looked and commented on this necklace!!

And these 2 received just about as much attention!! Interesting how they are so similar in colors!!! I don't know if that is because it is fall or just that we were in the woods with the browns and earth tones.  But people looked OVER other necklaces that were much more 'earthy' than these, but these were the 'biggest viewers'!! :)
