0 Talented Tuesday 3/31/15 (Blue Agate Slice, Moving Sale and Seed Bead Enteries)

I have to tell you, there is so much going on here at Krafty Max Originals!!  You all know about me moving to my own site, but there is so much more!! I am getting ready to travel to my best friends wedding (and of course I'm doing all the wedding jewelry).  I am also working on my THIRD entry into the Seed Bead Competition at Fire Mountain Gems. Here are the first two....  And the 3rd is EVEN bigger and more elaborate than anything I have ever done before!! I'll start showing that one off soon!!

I am not sure if you have heard of #ONESpark before, but here it is talked about A LOT!!  It is a great organization to help business get started and grow!!  Well, I have been invited by KATY Cube - Miniature Storefronts to be a part of this amazing festival!!  I am so excited!! 0 Talented Tuesday 3/24/15 (Moving Sale, Blue Agate and Breast Cancer)

How many of you went and looked at kraftymax.com yesterday?  It wont look like that when it gets released!!  BUT, keep looking, there will be changes any day!!!  I am just so excited, I am not sure if you can tell or not!!  I am moving my business and beading in a little bit different direction and making MANY behind the scenes changes.  I hope that my excitement and inspiration show though!! There is nothing I would like more than to take you all with me as I go on a journey to some AMAZING (no matter where/what that is)!!!!

4 Talented Tuesday 3/17/15 (SteampunkCoasters, My Son and new Daughter-in-law and St. Patrick's Day)

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!  Today I also get to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my oldest son!!  He lived in California and is also getting married to his beautiful fiance today.  And soon, they will be making me a GRANDMA (not sure how I feel about that part yet)!!!  So, HAPPY Birthday to my son, Kertis.  Congrats to my son and new daughter-in-law and Happy St. Patricks Day to the rest of you!!!!! :)

Today, it is a complete honor to introduce you to JosephAnthony the owner and designer behind SteampunkCoasters.   This talented artist has a 'little bit' going on!!  ON-LINE he creates, designs and sells his amazing Steampunk Coasters.  But off line he takes furniture and vintage junk (his word not mine) and turns it into beautiful creations for home decor!! Oh, did I mention that he also sells Old Town Paints (Chalk paint) and teaches people how to use it!?!?!  And now, there is a new bunch of creations he is working on.....reuse/recycle/upscale items.....like turning an OLD fan into a desk lamp!!

I have to say, that everything I have seen (and I have been a fan of his site for a while) I just love!!  Although he is self taught he blames credits his mom and grandmother for giving him the antique/flea market bug!!

5 Talented Tuesday 3/10/15 (Twisted and Troublesome Friends, Blue Peacock and Pizza Pockets!)

 

Last night I wanted to try something I saw on Facebook!!  So, here is my attempt at mini - personal - pizzas......

And, other than messy, I have to say, they were really good....and the kids LOVED them!! They are even taking the extras for lunch today!! OK, MOMMY WIN!!! :) 

These two aren't new, but they are wonderful!!  I have to tell you that the first bracelet seemed to catch everyone's eye at the show!!

Today I have a great artist to introduce you to!  Ms. Leeza (Lee-zah) the designer owner of Twisted& Troublesome Friends.  Unique name?  Well, here is what this unique artist said about it - it suits the quirky charisma associated with my work - and that it does!!

The detail in each of these little one's are simply amazing!  They all have great expressions (you can almost 'see' what they are thinking)!  She uses Polymer Clay which gives her more ability to 'mold an sculpt'.  And from start to finish she is very 'hands on'! 

Having only been making these amazing creatures for just about a year it has been a wonderful learning experience for her. Learning on her own from kits and videos she is always working to perfect her skills.
