0 Fascinating Friday 12/27/13 (Sock Monkey City and Reaching Tranquility)

Another beautiful day of beading and relaxing here in Florida.  I enjoyed yesterday so very much!!  I hope your days are like mine and full of something you love!!  

My happy dance started up again yesterday, because I received my beaded screen back this week!  NO, I still don't know how/if I placed, Fire Mountain Gems said that they would announce the winners in January.  So, I know that I am a finalist, but....the waiting is REALLY hard for me!!  If you want to see more about what I am talking about, here is the story.... And one more note... I already showed you my mother-in-law and sons Sock Monkey that they received for Christmas, but I didn't show you my daughter's.  Here they all are...and of course, the PURPLE one is Aye's!!

2 Tantalizing Tuesday 11/19/13 (Dinner, Monkeys and a New Creation)

Oh my goodness.... is it going to stay this busy all the way through tthe holidays???  I am not sure if I am happy of upset with that!!  First, let me show you what I made for dinner last night, I know it isn't really 'beading business', but I am proud of this dinner....

Talk about healthy!!  Fish, plain rice and brockoli!!  Yep, it was GOOOOOOOD!! 

And now I want to show you what I received in the mail...

There is one more, but I can't show that one yet (someone might be watching).  These are wonderful Sock Monkey's that I addopted from Sock Monkey City.  Her work is just amazing!!  These are not only very well made, but they feel wonderful....I might just have to order one for myself!!

1 Thoughtful Thursday 1/10/13

Today I am supposed to be thoughtful, and I guess I am, just if a different way. I have been reflective a lot over the last few weeks - as most of us do at the end of a New Year.  Now, my thoughts are more towards the future.  I have so many new designs in my head (my fingers just don't move that fast) and new ideas of where I want Krafty Max Originals to go over the next few years that it is hard to even tell you everything. 

With a business plan and projection down on paper and a set of goals posted in my business book it is easy to see where I am headed.  Getting there will take the help of ALL of you.  I am always so thankful for all the support I get from my friends, family, followers and fans.  It is amazing to me how much of an impact people who I have never met (in person) can impact my life so much.

So, with all this in mind I would like to say that this year will be a 'wild ride', I hope you are here for it!!

Today's featured artist is: SockMonkeyCity.  I have been very lucky to get to know this great artist over the recent weeks.  She was an avid beader for some time, however, she has decided to sell her beads and focus on her amazing SOCK MONKEYS.  Guess what I got??  YEP, her beads!!  I have to say, when I opened the box I was so happy!!!  I have SO many beads that I do NOT need anymore, however, as all of you know you really can't EVER have enough!!  So, here is what I received from her....

And now, you just have to see what she does with her socks.....I have to say that it was hard to pick a favorite from her 'cuties', but I think this one is the best!
