0 Traditional Thursday 5/1/14 (PURPLE Earrings, Prima Blog Feature and Bead Soup Blog Party)

Today I am not really very TRADITIONAL, but I am working on traditional style bead work....does that count?  There has been some news about the 8th BSBP Reveal that was supposed to be this Saturday.  The hostess - Ms.Lori McDaniel Anderson - has been having some health issues.  I hope that she gets better soon, this is one of those REALLY big REVEALS.  I mean, how hard could it be to pair-up, do several of your own soups and organize over 450 people....oh ya, and be sick too....OMG, I could NOT do it!  If you don't know me very well I guess I should tell you that the comment above was mean in TOTAL sarcasm.  I couldn't, wouldn't and don't want to do what she does!!  But, I HAVE been inspired by her wonderful spirit and creations for many years.  So, please be patient with the REVEAL, health ALWAYS comes first over anything else - yes, even beads!! :)

But, since I have already started showing off my creation I'll continue through today, but then I'll stop showing the photos and let you wait until the REVEAL day to see the finished creations....and yes, I said creations!  I have actually made SEVERAL things out of the wonderful soup I received!!  You can see it grow even more today over on my Fan Page or Google+ page, I post 'working photos' throughout the day!

Just look at these earrings.  PURPLE.  SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL. SILVER PLATED Seed Beads. Yep, wonderful, I think!! Oh ya, and they ship FREE!!!

OK, this is really kind-of cool!!  I am the Prima Bead Blogger Featured Blogger!!  How cool is that??  It is a short Tutorial I wrote about doing the ends of Peyote Bracelets.....want to read it?  Click on the graphic below.  PLEASE leave a comment on that post to show your support!!

2 What's New Wednesday 4/30/14 (Rich & Hated Graffixxx, RED and Gold and more Taryns Bath Treasures)

Well, today is another day full of beading and fun!! I am very excited about all the new changes... I think it is about time to announce something....Have you every heard of Rich & Hated Graffixxx? I hadn't until I put a call out for a designer and then....I got a response!!  I was really shocked when I looked at this amazing artists sites that 'Krafty Max' was something that he even wanted to work on.....
http://www.rhgfx.com/

.....but after some back and forth a deal was arranged!  And now I am so excited!! We have been working behind the scenes and the NEW Krafty Max will soon be done!!

The down side - once it is done I will be moving to my own site - Kraftymax.com - and this blog will eventually go in the archives.  The good news - I will be moving to my own site - Kraftymax.com!!! This is such a big move for me!  I will be using word press once it is all said and done, but I will still be blogging and posting just like normal!  So, watch for the 'REVEAL' and for the chance to follow me in a whole NEW WAY!!

Are you excited??  I sure am!!!

Here is yet another creation that I revealed at the recent on-line party!!  It is all Swarovski Crystals!!!  I just love how rich and elegant it looks, what do you think?

So, many of you started watching me create this necklace yesterday for the 8th BSBP.  I hope that you keep checking back so that you can see it grow even more today over on my Fan Page or Google+ page, I post 'working photos' throughout the day!

Yesterday I introduced you to Ms. Carla from Taryns Bath Treasures.  I was very impressed with how she took one recipe and method and turned it into a business!! She learned on her own - researching the Internet and taking local classes to expand her skills and product line.  Like many of us, she had tried just about all crafts including sewing and knitting, but her love is soap making!!!

She does sell on-line, but she is most prolific at local craft shows and co-ops.  When I asked if she had won any awards she said, NOT YET, but, that made this statement; Unless you count the praise of my hubby and kids when they like a new soap! That means more to me than an award anyway! (I thank so many of us can relate to this)

So, go look over her sites - I am sure you'll find something you like.... I know I have!  And make sure you FAN her page too....she is someone that will be worth saying 'I knew her when'!

0 Talented Tuesday 4/29/14 (8th Bead Soup Blog Party, Swarovski Pearl Flowers and Taryn's Treasures)

Today I have so much to show you!!  First though I have to apologize... I got so excited last night about finishing my 'frog' that I forgot to take photos of it being done!! It is already off an to it's new owner!! But, I also got excited because I was able to finish - that means that I get to start showing off my 8th Bead Soup Blog Party  creation!!  The BIG reveal will be this Saturday, but you'll get to watch me working on some of it now....

8th Bead Soup Blog Party

Here is the SOUP I received from the amazing - talented - Ms. Kimi from Kimis Jewelry and Gifts!!!

Not only did she send me some of my favorite colors, but she included DRAGONFLIES!!!  YEP, dragonflies!!  OK, this one of those that I just can't wait to work on!!  First thing, to do a BIG project.... Let's start with this...

If you want to watch me work on this, or other creations, come on over on my Fan Page or Google+ page, I post 'working photos' throughout the day!

And of course I couldn't let today go by and not show off another new creation!  This is another on from the party last week, and boy, is it beautiful!  I have to tell you that this is a 'new' creation for me and I just love the way it turned out!  I have mixed feelings about the design, in one way it looks like a birds nest (in a good way) and also it looks like flowers....what do you think?? This one is EXCLUSIVE to my La Juliet Studio, so that means that it ships FREE!

Today I get to feature another wonderful artist!  I have to tell you that when I first received Ms. Carla's interview I really hadn't heard of her company Taryn's Treasures.  To say that this handmade artist makes just 'soap' is a total understatement!!  Her creations are 'all natural and simply beautiful' to look at!

Getting started just after her son was born about 3 years ago she took her creations from one recipe to a studio full of beautiful creations.  Tomorrow I'll tell you about who her support group is and how she took that one recipe and turned it into a great business!

Here is just a few of her favorites - and mine too!!

Check out her sites and come back tomorrow and I'll tell you more about her and her creations!

Today I would like to leave you with this thought;

When you help someone up a hill, you get that much closer to the top yourself!
