0 Traditional Thursday 10/30/14 (Creative Circle Ambassadors,

So, want more news this week??  So far I have shown off my oldest son - who is getting married, my youngest son - who when to the air show with dad and my only daughter - who looked beautiful going to homecoming with boyfriend!  Want more??  How about beads??  YEP, more beads!!  

There is something I haven't told you about yet.....I am no longer in the Prima Beads blog program!! I have been asked to join the  Ambassador Program at Cousins!!  For me, this is a BIG step.  This program is AMAZING!! The first thing they sent me.....just to play with...is all of this SWAROVSKI Swag!! And look at some of the magazine, they are for FUTURE dates....they aren't even out yet!!! OH MY!!  I think I will have to do a give-a-way with some of them and 'play' with some of the rest!!!  See anything you like????

 

I receive such a great response yesterday for the earring sets....that I just HAD to list 2 more sets!! These are a little more delicate, but they are just as fun and just look at the price....did I really price them at THAT??

8 What's New Wednesday 7/2/14 (Cousin/Prima Beads, Miracle Beads and Paisley Lizard)

Today I get to tell you about my visit to the Cousin's / Prima Bead Warehouse! Let me tell you, it was AMAZING!! First I want to thank Ms. Liz Heggy.  She and I have been working together during my time as a Prima Bead Blogger and it was so nice to put a wonderful face with the 'emails'! She introduced us to EVERYONE and made us feel so welcome!!  

When we (hubby and I) first came into the building we were greeted by some of the most friendly people I have ever met.  But, I noticed TWO amazing things on the wall.  First, a Newspaper article about how this family run business started and who started it (you can read the story by clicking here).  But, the item that struck me the most - a chart of names that told how long the employees had been with the company!  It started out at 5 Years and went all the way to 35+ Years of employment!  The list, IMPRESSIVE to say the least!

Next we were walked around the office and able to meet so many nice people!  But they, as we started down the hall, I saw these dolls....

Aren't they BEAUTIFUL?  They were one of many gifts that come from over seas!  The detail...exceptional!

Then we were shown into this room....oh my!  These are containers full of older, retired or discontinued bead....please send them to my home...my address is....

PLEASE!!!

But the fun didn't stop there.  Next it was into the 'heart' of the warehouse.  This is where they box and ship all the items out to their retailers or customers.  The precision is amazing!!  It 'literally' is down to a science!! Just look at this! 

And here are the boxes they still have to pack...many of their boxes are also recycled!!

But, off on one side I found this box... I just love the saying that have been put on it! Especially the one in the middle on the bottom!

But then, she took me to the beads....open, on the hooks and just looking at me....oh, the beads!!! This is a wall that is made up of one of their retail displays so that they can actually see what it would look like in the store!

And this is one of their halls....oh my!!

But this... this was the best.  Some of the new design coming....I know you can't see much, but let me just say...watch the website and your local store.  There are some new items coming (that I can't show you yet) that are simply amazing!!!  

I have been told that there are some amazing things coming (that I haven't even seen yet) for the Prima Bead Bloggers.  And for that, I just say....I can't wait!! 

Thank you so much to ALL of the Cousin / Prima Bead employees for making us feel welcome and allowing us to see into your world - even if only for a few minutes!

Yesterday I introduced  Ms. Tammy Adams from Paisley Lizard.  Today I would like to tell you more!  Since she was about 14 she has been beading and designing jewelry!! But about 10 years ago she started really concentrating on selling it.  Starting simple with Semi-Precious Gemstone and basic supplies she has grown now to developing a beautiful style of her own!  She has now branched out into copper, brass, gunmetal and other metals to create her wonderful wire-wrapping.  Adding chain and wire crochet into the mix and it is easy to see why so many love her designs!

Now that she is 'borderline obsessed' (her words, not mine) with Polymer Clay she is able to make her own focal or bead if she can't find one that fits into her design. 

Tomorrow I'll tell you a little bit more about her - including where and how she sells her creations!!  But, before that, make sure you check out all her sites!!

0 Frivolous Friday 6/20/14 (A Trip Away, Crystal Earrings and an OWL)

So, it is Friday and I am so excited!!!  I have some news!!  As many of you know I don't go anywhere much, especially just my hubby and I!  BUT, next week will be SOOOOO different!  Because of a dear friend coming up to house / pet sit while we are gone and another dear friend's birthday present.... Hubby and I will be 'getting away' for 5 days.....FIVE DAYS!!!!!  Oh, did I mention that my kids will be away at a Operation Military Kids Camp next week too??  

Hubby and I will be traveling around Florida for a couple of days and just enjoying the time away!  I will NOT be beading next week....well, maybe at night in the hotel...maybe....but I will be posting photos of where we are and what we're doing!! 

Also I have arranged to have a tour of the Prima Bead / Cousin facility next week too!! I can't wait to show you what I see there and tell you all about my tour!!  

So, please enjoy my adventure next week and come back the next week to see what I create next....maybe I am sure my trip will inspire me!  During the trip I wont be doing regular blog posts, but I will be posting on my Fan Page!

0 Traditional Thursday 5/1/14 (PURPLE Earrings, Prima Blog Feature and Bead Soup Blog Party)

Today I am not really very TRADITIONAL, but I am working on traditional style bead work....does that count?  There has been some news about the 8th BSBP Reveal that was supposed to be this Saturday.  The hostess - Ms.Lori McDaniel Anderson - has been having some health issues.  I hope that she gets better soon, this is one of those REALLY big REVEALS.  I mean, how hard could it be to pair-up, do several of your own soups and organize over 450 people....oh ya, and be sick too....OMG, I could NOT do it!  If you don't know me very well I guess I should tell you that the comment above was mean in TOTAL sarcasm.  I couldn't, wouldn't and don't want to do what she does!!  But, I HAVE been inspired by her wonderful spirit and creations for many years.  So, please be patient with the REVEAL, health ALWAYS comes first over anything else - yes, even beads!! :)

But, since I have already started showing off my creation I'll continue through today, but then I'll stop showing the photos and let you wait until the REVEAL day to see the finished creations....and yes, I said creations!  I have actually made SEVERAL things out of the wonderful soup I received!!  You can see it grow even more today over on my Fan Page or Google+ page, I post 'working photos' throughout the day!
