2 Making Monday 4/13/15 (Happy Dance, New Project and Besties Wedding)

 

Today I have some news, but not yet.....it will be this afternoon... I am so excited!! 

This is how I feel!! I have been working on this for so long and it if finally time!!  YEP, time!!  I will be doing the 'happy dance' all day... please join me this afternoon....I hope that you will be doing it with me!! :)

Today I am going to start showing you the BIG project that I have been working on.  Over the past month or so I have been beading (mostly on the weekends and at night) on this VERY large project.  I don't want to show you 'what it will be' yet, as I am not even done with it, but let me just say, it is larger than anything else I have ever done.  This is an ART piece and I hope to finish with it in time to make it my THIRD entry into the Seed Bead Competition at Fire Mountain Gems.  So, today I start....here are (just the first set) of colors!! Last Friday night was one of my classes, and here, is what my ladies made.  I have to tell you that I am so very proud of them!!  They pick up on stitches and designs so fast!!  I can't wait to get my tutorials finished!  I am also opening my classes up to anyone that would like to come....you'll find out where to find my calender of events later today!! :)

Mark your calendars, if you are in Florida at the end of the week this will be a great music fest and arts show!! I can't wait to go down and set-up!!  

And who knew about my 'besties' wedding?  I have to tell you that I was not only proud to be able to stand up for her, but also so very happy for her.  She has found a GOOD man!  Here are a few photos, but if you want to check out more, go see her fan page (yes, she paints) AmbersArtAlley!!

0 Making Monday 3/30/15 (Neotique Design Shope, One Spark and Moving Sale)

OK, this weekend thing just keeps happening to quick!  Between the show (Friday and Saturday) and taking yesterday off to spend with the family there seems to be no down time....but that is OK!!  The show was a great success and I was able to meet some of the most wonderful people!!  Here is what my set-up looks like....both sides of the isle!!  Oh, and if you look at them closely you'll see my hubby, he helped me set-up on Friday!! :)  What a wonderful hubby!! 

 

And this morning it is back to the bead tray!! I am so happy to just sit and bead!!  I hope that you still want to watch this one...we're getting to the end!!  I hope you'll come over  to my Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page  were I post 'working' photos throughout the day.

I am not sure if you have heard of 1Spark before, but here it is talked about A LOT!!  It is a great organization to help business get started and grow!!  Well, I have been invited by KATY Cube - Miniature Storefronts to be a part of this amazing festival!!  I am so excited!! I am not sure of ALL the details yet, but I will tell you more as I can!!!  Keep watching for the news!!

2 Making Monday 3/16/15 (Mi Casa Cafe, Catherine's Musings and Bead Peeps Swap 'n' Hop)

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!  Spent with the family watching the St. Patrick's Day parade and then going to the Celtic Fest in St. Augustine!!  OH MY, talk about busy and fun!! The weather (sorry for my northern friends) was in the 80's and BEAUTIFUL!!  I didn't get any good photos, but I'll look through some my son took....maybe we'll find a couple!  

Last weekend I was down in St. Augustine for the Seafood fest as a vendor and let me just say that I have to thank my daughter again!  Not only did she help me with my booth (for 3 days) but she also found this amazing place right along the historical St George Street.  When we were (there was 6 of us) down there again this past weekend we stopped in the same cafe - Mi Casa Cafe - and just let me tell you......WONDERFUL!!  Last weekend they saved us - both in price and in GREAT food.  This weekend it was our oasis! Ms. Marnie and her 'boys' provided us with a cool place to rest our tired feet and some of the best food I've had in a LONG TIME!! I wish I had photos, but we were so hungry we dug right in....and ALL of us LOVED IT!!! And Ms. Marnie is a treat as well!!  As we sat....filling out "tummies with yummies" (a cute saying my son came up with) we had great conversation and then....the live music started....you really MUST make this a destination if you are in St. Augustine, Florida!
