0 Traditional Thursday 9/18/14 (FALL Bracelet, Kickstarter and Kimmie's Clay Kreations)

What a week it has been!! I know, it is only Thursday, but still, it has been busy and fun!! Today I am going to try VERY hard to finish the current bracelet I am working on!! I also hope to have the tutorial done at the end of the weekend!! WHO KNEW that they are this hard to do!?!?!

So, you have now met Ms. Kimmie the owner and designer of Kimmie's Clay Kreations. IF you hadn't noticed yet she works with a lot of Glow in the Dark clay! And let me tell you, it makes an impact!! Her creations are amazing in the light of the day, but they take on a whole new life when you turn out the lights!!

I told you I would show you my favorites....well, here they are...notice, they both have PURPLE in them!!

But, there are so many others that I like too! I will be spending some of my holiday money in her shop!! I hope that you do too! Just look through it and I am sure you'll find something that is wonderful!!

0 What's New Wednesday 9/17/14 (Kimmie's Clay Kreations, 2014 Gift Guide and New Creations)

Yesterday I had big plans of what I was going to get done - I finished MOST of it!! But then the beads took over! There was just to many pretty beads out on my desk to not create!! So, I worked on my tutorial but didn't get it finished, wasn't able to do a mini photo shoot, but I did create a couple of new stranded items....maybe I'll be able to get them listed today or in the morning!! That means that today I'll be doing more of what I was doing yesterday!!

Yesterday I introduced you to Ms. Kimmie the owner and designer of Kimmie's Clay Kreations.

Today I get to tell you more about her and her creations!!

Combining her love for Clay and Colors she designed these little creatures called FuzzyKims. She calls them 'cute little whimsical Monsters' and I can't think of a better way to describe them!! Her favorite - and it is easy to see why - is this little Otter!

While she does look at 'real animals' to start the designs she then sketches them out before starting to sculpt. The rest is art making history!! It is very remarkable how she combines all these separate pieces into a finished creation.....just look at how these 'parts' become the witch below!

Then you can turn these FuzzyKims into necklaces, shelf sitters, gift toppers or even cake toppers (yep, my monster's birthday is coming up....ummm)! Come back tomorrow and I'll show you MY favorites!! For now, check out all her sites and remember to tell her how you found out about her!!

0 Talented Tuesday 9/16/14 (Pumpkin with a Bird, Krafty Max Creations and Kimmie's Clay Kreations)

Today is one of those days when I hope to get EVERYTHING on my list done....we'll see! I am going to be working on my pumpkin and bird bracelet, trying to finish my first real tutorial video and also doing a mini photo shoot of my newest creations!! I HOPE! No matter what happens I will have beads in my hands and therefor I will be happy!!

Today, I have the pleasure to introduce Ms. Kimmie the owner and designer of Kimmie's Clay Kreations. When I asked to interview her for my featured Artist section she happily said yes. One of the comments she posted was just to good to not include, so here, in her own words, is how she looks at her creations!!

When I was a child I used to love to create characters with Play-doh and color and draw with crayons. I had a huge stack of coloring books that would keep me busy for hours. My 3 children and I loved playing with Play-doh and coloring and drawing together. Now I use Polymer Clay instead of Play-doh and draw and color with Prismacolor colored pencils instead of crayons. My creativity and imagination is endless.

And boy, does she design!! I have to tell you that what first drew me to her creations was the dragons, but.....the more I look the more I find that I want!! They are cute, creative and VERY personal!! And YES, if you look close there are several of them that have glow in the dark clay in them.
