0 Traditional Thursday 8/7/14 (My Lady Carrissa, Kickstarter and Angry Sisters)

Is it really Thursday already?  WOW! Well, I guess we'll just 'go with it'!!!  My plan for the day - STAY HOME ALL DAY!! We'll see if that actually works!! I do know that I will be beading most of the day, if for no other reason for my sanity!!

4 What's New Wednesday 8/6/14 (ME!, Laydbug and Angry Sisters)

So, have you been able to keep up with me? I think my life is getting busier by the minute!!  Yesterday I finished the necklace I was working on, but I didn't get enough time to actually do a mini photo shoot to list it...I will try to get it all done today.  But, finishing one creation means that I get to start a new one!!

But first, many of you are aware that I am trying to loose weight.  I am now on a Doctor regulated medication and really watching what I am eating!! So, even though these aren't in the same outfits, you can see that in the last 3 months.....I have lost..... 35+ pounds!!!!  YEP!! I am so proud and motivated!!!

 

 So, yesterday I finished this necklace...

And today I get to start this one!!  This is an amazing hand painted center was made fro me by my dear friend Ms. Elfie from Painting from the Heart.  I actually got 3 beautiful centers from her, but I'll show them off later!!

6 Talented Tuesday 8/5/14 (A Key, $25 Certificate and Angery Sisters)

Did you see yesterday's post?  Well, today I have just about as much to show off!!!  YEP!! I have been working on so many things, I just hope that they all come to terms!!  I am just so happy that my life is turning and that Krafty Max Originals seems to be on the UP track!!  It shows me that if you want it bad enough and work hard enough you can make it happen....hopefully!!

On a personal note, it is just about 'back to school' time for us....I am happy and sad all at the same time!! Happy to get my routine and quiet days back.  Sad because I have gotten very close to my kids this summer and we have done a lot together...between homework and extra activities that will mostly be gone!

But, I still have them for a couple more weeks!!

 

Just look at this necklace - simple, but beautiful!! Remember, I have over 600 items listed in my studio, there is something for EVERY occasion!

Today I am honored to introduce to you Kristen Gandy & Robin Thigpen from Angry Sisters Natural Body Products.   I met them at the Better Together M.O.M. Conference and boy, are their creations amazing!!

I am not sure if I have told you before, but my daughter suffers from eczema and skin allergies.  She has had them all her life and we have tried so many different types of products, even prescription lotions and soaps.  But after talking to these amazing and knowledgeable women I had my daughter try one of their lotions.  Almost instantly we saw a difference in Aye's skin and after a couple of hours it only got better!! Then, I tried their Sun & Dandi Salve on my DRY and CRACKED beading hands...oh MY!!  We proceeded to buy a bunch of soaps, lip balm and even some "You've got mud on your face" Blemish Mud Mask for Aye's achene.

Coming home each night and trying the products we were AMAZED!!  Aye's skin is softer than it ever has been.  Her achene, almost gone.  My dry hands....a thing of the past....YES, I am a BELIEVER in the ANGRY SISTER'S Natural Body Products!!

Now, want to know how they started....here is their story!!

Robin and I are sister-in-laws, and we actually had another sister-in-law who passed away in her early thirties after a several year fight with breast cancer. It was shortly after that we started researching, and got angry about all of the harmful chemicals in the products we used every day. Obviously there are lots of contributors to cancer today, but we do our best to make sure that what we put in and on our bodies is no longer harmful, and we want to help others avoid the harmful chemicals in any way we can.

So, after doing online and book research they started digging into what the chemicals were and how they effected us everyday.  They found that an amazing amount went into Body Products and that is when they got ANGRY! So, they started making their own creations - starting out with soaps.  After learning about coloring and mixing techniques they realized that you can get clean and moisturized without all the chemicals! 

And then, they named their products to match their happy and vibrant since of humor that shines out when you meet them! Soaps like Unicorn Pop (Aye's favorite) and The 'F' Bar (for Florida) it is easy to SMILE and enjoy the beauty and quality of their products!!

0 Making Monday 8/4/14 (A New Bike, Growing Krafty Max and a $25 Certificate to Win)

What an amazing weekend!!!   The The Better Together Mom Conference was amazing!! I was able to meet so many wonderful authors, mothers and just amazing women!! The whole conference was filled with love and hope!!

On top of that I was able to meet several amazing vendors, including handmade artists Simply Scented Candles and Angry Sisters Natural!!!  I hope to be featuring them both over the next week or two!!!  And then, there was my neighbor, Bonnie Denmeade a Thirty One Consultant.  And let me just say, between the three of them....I think I shopped the weekend away - but it was SO worth it!!

Beyond all that we also were able to get Monster a NEW bike!! His old one was recently stolen in broad daylight out of our front yard while we were gone on a run to the post office!! But, he is pretty happy with his new bike - and he locks it to EVERYTHING!!

I am just so amazed that so few people have entered to win a $25 Certificate from my studio... wow, I thought this one would have LOTS of entries!! Oh well, some lucky fan will still win!! (no matter what form you enter on, the entries all go to the same place)
