2 Wonderful Wednesday 1/18/12

I know, I know, I have shown off my little Monster enough, but I just can't help but to show you a couple more!  Although yesterday was his birthday his party will not be until Saturday.  We allowed him to open ONE of his presents - from Mom and Dad - so that his day was special.

Yes, it is a DS game - Lego Star Wars to be exact!  It is one that he had wanted since before he even had a DS!!  As you can see, he has been perfecting his charm and his hearts!!  Did I tell you that his 3 invites for school friends were to GIRLS... oh no, not yet!!!!

Today's featured artist is NecKnits.  These wonderful scarfs are hand made and each in a beautiful design.  This great artist had given up knitting for over 40 years, but when she picked up the needles again the beauty flowed!!  Go visit her wonderful studio to see the different colors and designs she has.  Remember to support your handmade artists if you can!

5 Wonderful Wednesday

So yesterday was spent - some - with the beadwork, but it seems that the housework took over again!  How did THAT happen?  Isn't my obsession supposed to come first?  :~)  Oh well, I did manage to get this new set done.  What do you think???  I just love how the flowers seem to be 'inside' the beads.  Just click on the photo to see more photos and the listing for it in my ArtFire Studio.

I would like to invite everyone to come and join in our fun and friendly CreationsColorChallengeGroup.  This is a bunch of fun!  Every other week there are new colors chosen.  We have one week to work on our creations and then we SHOW THEM OFF the next week.  It is all in fun and can be anything from a family art project with the kids to a week long art creation.  Please come and join us in the fun!  This weeks colors are Orange, Yellow and White!

Today is a 

WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!

So, who is waiting to see what I made out of the 'Bead Soup' mix I was given???

And, what do you think??  I can't tell you how many times I had to 're-do' parts or all of the set because it just wasn't right.  But, in the end, I am very proud of my creations!

I wanted to give shout out to Sonya from Belly Charms.  After following each other we discovered that we actually live in the same town - not far away from each other.  I was given the wonderful pleasure of having the beautiful Ms. Sonya and her family stop by and see me over the weekend at the Festival.  It was very nice to put a face to the name and meet her family.  Her husband is just as handsome in person as he is in those photos and her kids are just as cute as can be.  Please stop over and check out her blog and shops on Artfire and Etsy.

8 Wonderful Wednesday

So let me start out by saying that my son, Monster is a wonderful child!  Last night after showers and 'the bedtime' routine he came out with this set of PJ's on and very 'slicked' back hair!  He also had his 'clip' on tie on.  He announced to me that he was ready to go off to work!  I just couldn't pass up the opporunitie to take photos!!!  Check him out!

Now if that is something WONDERFUL, I don't know what is!
