0 Traditional Thursday 5/8/14 (Sisters, Teacher Bracelet and Hazel Cove)

I am so excited to announce that I have been selected by Lisa Wingate (my favorite author) to be a 'sister' in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Book!!  Basically the 'sisters' will all get a chance to read the new book (to be released soon) and we then make notes and sign the book before we send it on to the next 'sister'!!  I am just so very excited about this!!  WHAT FUN!! 

And remember, the BIG REVEAL is this Saturday of the 8th Annual Bead Soup Blog Party!  I know that many of you watched my dragonfly necklace grow, but wait until you see what it looks like all done!!  AND, the 'other' creations I made....there are a few....out of the amazing SOUP that was sent to me by Kimis Jewelry and Gifts!!!  Here is what she sent me.....

When I asked  Hazel Cove what sent her aside from everyone else her answer was perfect!  Here is what she said;

So, when you want to buy from her Etsy shop or through Face Book I have no doubt that you will find something...or, they can make you something as a custom order!!  And they have even started going out to craft shows to meet with people in person!!

4 What's New Wednesday 5/7/14 (Crayons and Teacher, Keys and Hummingbird and Hazel Cove)

What's new?  Not to much I can tell you right now, but it is in the works!!  As always I have 'lots' of things in the pipeline.  BUT, for now, I can't tell you about it all!!  Can I just say FIRE MOUNTAIN GEMS???  OK, that is all I can say!!  But just wait, it is going to be BIG, very BIG!!!

Who has been watching this one?  I will be finishing it today and I hope that the 'extras' I add on will make it really unique!!  Keep watching today and see what happens!! All you have to do is come over to my Fan Page or Google+ page, I post 'working photos' throughout the day!

Another day of 'showing off' older creations!!  These are just sitting in my studio waiting to go to their new homes.....where will they go??

Yesterday I introduced Hazel Cove, and today I would like to tell you more about them.  When I asked her how she learned how to make her creations she said that there was a trial and error period of teaching myself that made me capable of creating the designs that I do today.  After figuring out how to make the creation in her own style she has now perfected it!  I have to say that when I look at these great creations her attention to details really shows - no 'bubbles', all the links are secure and the bead work is impeccable. 

After moving her family to Oklahoma to support her husband career she started making Key Chains.  From there, after trying many other crafts, her love of personalization was born!  Like many of us the transition from working full time to being a stay at home mom was a big one.  But, throwing herself into these creations not only helped, but turned her 'down time' into a productive business. So, what started out as a necessity to create something from her children to their Grandparents is now making LOTS of Grandparents (and many others) happy.

2 Talented Tuesday 5/6/14 (Sun Flower Bracelet, Teacher's Crayons and Hazel Cove)

I am very excited about today!! I will be showing off another TALENTED artist's creations!!  I get to bead....more and also I am planing my next on-line party!!! So, as you can see, I am busy - just like normal!! Life seems to keep me going this way - everyday!

Today I feel very luck to feature Ms. Danielle Tauscher from Hazel Cove.  There are so many wonderful creations in this artist's studio it is hard to even focus on just one or two!!  The Custom Bottle Cap and Bezel pendants are wonderful!  They range from key chains to badge holders and from necklaces to hair bows!!  And boy, are their Window Locket necklaces great too!!  I have to say that no matter what the occasion; birthday, anniversary, wedding or just a great day, you'll find something to personalized that will set that 'day in stone'!! :)
