6 Traditional Thursday 7/3/14 (Fort Myers, Beautiful BLUE!, and Paisley Lizard)

Today I am going to show off a little of the scenery that we saw!  Honestly I didn't take nearly enough photos.  There were so many times that I was 'caught up in the moment' that I forgot to take photos!!  But there are a few....These are from the car, but they are still BEAUTIFUL!!

And then, on one of our walks in the historic section of Fort Myers we found this great park...it was so beautiful and well kept!  And I am not sure why, but I was really drawn to this railing! It is very peaceful to me....strange I know, but I just loved the metal and the curves!

And although this clock didn't work, it was simply beautiful!!

Then there was this great set of statues.  I can't remember who they were (I know I can look it up) but for me it was more about their poses.  Talk about looking creative and 'hashing' over the creation in progress!!  WOW!

Tomorrow I'll show you what else we found on our walk downtown....beads!! ~KM

Just look how I finished this Blue Gemstone, like it? Talk about sparkle!  AND it is FULLY reversible!!

It wont be hard for you to guess what this will be, but, if you want to watch it grow, come on over to my Fan Page or Google+ page, I post 'working photos' throughout the day!

Today I want to tell you just a little more about Ms. Tammy Adams from Paisley Lizard.
I asked her what set her aside from other artists and here is what she said;
I call my jewelry “collection” eclectic – there isn’t a single theme or style running through it. I enjoy making one-of-a-kind pieces and trying new techniques and a variety of styles. My jewelry is always very wearable. It’s definitely not minimalist, but it’s not overly ornate.  When I work with naturally gorgeous gemstone beads and focals, I tend to go with simpler designs, so as not to compete with or overshadow them.  One place I do tend to get elaborate is my earrings. I have a tendency to make super long dangly earrings, often loaded with wire-wrapped crystals for extra drama. It’s what I like to wear. Ultimately, I make what I would enjoy wearing, rather than following any current fashion trends, and I hope there are people out there looking for handmade original jewelry to help them tell their story and show off their own personal style.
Now if that doesn't tell a lot about her, I don't know what will!  She is currently selling on Etsy and has a good following.

Here, for me, is the kicker.  Want to know what her '9-5' job is? She is an Ecologist! Yep!!  She has been published for her research on Marine Mammals!!  Talk about a unique cross over! She has hopes to be published in both her passions soon!

If you didn't learn enough or see enough of her creations (I know I didn't) here are some more.  The dragonfly's are my favorites, of course!  Please check out all her sites and 'follow' her....she is on the 'upward' climb!!

I am running my sale again in my La Juliet Studio.  All the 29 items still in that studio are 40% off!!  I have actually marked them down, so you wont need to wait for the refund!!  But, shop now, all the creations are EXCLUSIVE to that studio and will not last!!

Today I would like to leave you with this thought;
