Oh, what a weekend!! We did another 'family movie' weekend!! This time we saw X-Men Days of Future Past.
It was very good... a interesting twist to the story line, and an amazing marketing campaign! I wont give away the whole story, but let's just say that they time travel and because of that the time line changes...guess what....that means the first two movies really don't 'count' anymore and they can re-do them with the new time line! Talk about marketing ingenious!! So what now? Start over, continue on....they can do both/either!!
My daughter is graduating from 8th grade in a couple of days and their was a dance for her class over the weekend. After a bit of begging she was allowed to wear the Pink Beadwoven necklace....
I can honestly say that I am so very proud of my daughter. But, as you can see, at 14 I am also very amazed and shocked at how much she has grown up....without me even knowing!! It really hit me while I was doing her hair...OMG....she is a beautiful young lady, when did that happen??
We also enjoyed one of the best watermelons I've ever had....I tried to make a 'heart' out of the heart...I guess it kind of looks like one! :)
What did you do this past weekend?
I have them listed now.... anyone want to purchase some hair-sticks? I can also do custom orders with them if you need a special color!!
I am sure that you have seen the 'little girl' I have already made for this creation, but now I am working on the other 1/2 of it.... want to watch it grow? Come over to my Fan Page or Google+ page, I post 'working photos' throughout the day!
How many of you have already checked out my La Juliet Studio? I am still running the 40% off any purchase (it will be refunded within 24 hours of purchase) and their are still lots of EXCLUSIVE items in my studio. Please hurry over, there are only 48 items left!!! And, I will be closing this sale soon, so hurry!!
Today I would like to leave you with this thought;
Why NOT go out on a limb? That's where the fruit is! ~Mark Twain
Your daughter is gorgeous and she's rocking that necklace. My weekend was quiet...still getting over this horrible cold, although I did treat myself to a photo taking junket in Plymouth yesterday. The weather was too nice to waste indoors.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you had a good weekend, I wish you had felt better!! Thank you, it is wonderful and horrifying to watch her grow up and think...that is my baby!! It wasn't as hard with my older boy, but she is just SOOOO much like me!! :) ~KM
