It is Thoughtful Thursday and so today I am supposed to reflect on something....there are so many things at this time of the year that brings thought back to me. Putting ornaments on the tree (from when I was a child), signing songs with my kids (that I used to sing) and even cooking and preparing our meals. But for me, my thought turn to my Grandmother. Many of you see the wonderful creations that I make from her Stash, but not many of you know her story! I can't tell you much (she was a private person), but what I can tell you is that I loved my Grandmother very much! She brought light and life into a room with her smile and laugh (she always laughed)! She was one of the most giving and loving people I have ever had the privilege to know. Maybe it is because of her Stash all around my house, but I still feel her looking over my shoulder! For those of you who have your own angles looking down at you, you'll understand!!

To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.
I'm so glad that you have the memories of your Grandma to cherish each and everyday of your life. These are special memories that you and she had. I never knew my grandmothers as they passed away (one before I was born) and the other one when I was 2. But I have the stories that my mom and dad told me about them.
