Krafty Max Originals: Thoughtful Thursday 8/1/13

School is about to start and I have to say I have very mixed feeling about that!! I am looking back to all that we have done over this summer and how short it seems, but then I am remembering how much I can't wait to get the kids out of the house and back on a schedule!! There is a line in the movie You've Got Mail that talks about fall and how wonderful freshly sharpened pencils smell.... that is me!! I LOVE shopping for school supplies (not school clothes, though) and getting a FRESH start to the year (yes, with kids your year is the school year)!

So today, as I am sitting here look over all the school forms - that I have to fill out every year - I am thankful and sad that summer is almost over. Do you get these mixed feelings? Are you as torn as I am about the start of school and end of summer vacation?

I have to say that I was really hoping to raise some money for the American Red Cross, but I have gotten little/no bids. I am not sure if I should just extend the Auction or cancel it. I will have to think about it and see what happens.

Here is my current project....I got very little interest when it started, just one color, BUT, when I added the center....oh boy!!! You can watch the creation grow on my Fan Page or Google+ page throughout the day!!

Today my featured artist is: customized4Y. Although this artist doesn't have much under the BIO tab it is very easy to see the love for all things vintage!! I have to say that there are several things in this wonderful studio that I would love to have in my home (many of them I remember from growing up)!
