Yesterday was WACKY!! I don't know what happened with my camera, but I spent the afternoon taking, re-taking and editing photos OVER AND OVER for hours!! I just don't understand! I use this camera daily, and for the most part there is NO problem with my camera. I am really not sure what happened this time! I did the first set - BLURRY! Changed batteries and tried again - BLURRY! Cleaned the lenses and did a 're-set' on the camera - CLEAR! I am not sure at what fixed the camera, but, it is fixed!!! So, I am off to beading again!!!
Here is the finished Green and White bracelet for my entry into the CreationsColorChallengeGroup challenge. I think it turned out very nice!! You can click on the photo to go see the listing and the 'extra' photos of the bracelet if you would like. Also, don't forget that everything I do is OOAK (One of a Kind), so grab it up if you like it!!!
Here is the video of 'how it was made' - ENJOY!!
So, what does it mean if I finish and list a creation??? It is time to start another one!! I am just loving the RAW (Right Angle Weave), so I think I'll do another project with it. This one, however, will only START out looking the same! For any of you that don't know when I design my creations I usually start off with a vision in my head of how it will turn out. Then the fun/hard part is getting the design to look like what I have in my mind for the project. Once in a while the creation takes on a life of it's own, but usually it come out just about the way I wanted it to!! So, here are the Dyed Jade beads I have chosen for this next creation....let's see where it takes us!! Remember, you can watch it 'grow' on my Fan Page or Google+ page throughout the day.
I have to say that giving these books away makes me so very happy!! I love to see the new/developing beaders receive them and then be inspired by them! You can click here to go enter to win this new book!!
For any of you that haven't gotten the magazine to look at yet, here is the 'full spread' of the page I am on!! If you want to read about my journey of how I got my first publication......simply click on the photo and it will take you to the 'WHOLE STORY'!
Today's featured artist is: ClassA. This great handmade artist started out like most of us - her mother taught her! And like most of us she learned many other types of art/crafts. From knitting to sewing she started created her own designs. But it her love for sewing took the lead. You can tell - just by looking - at how wonderful her designs are. The colors are so 'complimenting' to each other. Go check out this great studio and remember to support all handmade artists!!
Today I would like to leave you with this thought;
Never say anything uncomplimentary about another person's dog!
