As many of you know my wonderful daughter, Aye, is in the 6th grade this year. She just amazes me at every turn! Last week we received report cards and she is once again on the A/B honor roll! I am just so very proud of her! (I'll brag about my Monster in tomorrows post). She left yesterday morning on a School sponsored away camp.
So, at O'dark hundred I was at her school yesterday and dropping her off with all the other campers to ride the bus to their camp! I have to say (and this will embarrass her) it took her 5+ hours to pack yesterday. She is of the age that style, look and ALL that is GIRL matters to her - even on an overnight camping trip! So although she will be in the woods most of the day - she'll look really good doing it!!

Here is my new listing for today. I had fun making this one - there are so many FUN buttons out there - I have so many still to make!! This one is called: It is a Doggy Dog World Out There - Doggy Beadwoven Bracelet - what do you think?

I have started a link list under the 'Favorites' tab at the top of the page. I would love to have everyone list their blogs there.
OH MY GOODNESS, my featured artist for today, ayca, made this beautiful neck warmer! This 25+ year crocheter is just amazing in some of her designs. I would think that with a 3 year old she would have a hard time finding the opportunity to create some of these 'wearable artworks', but she still does it! Please go visit her studio and other link and remember to support handmade artist this holiday season.

And for a final comment I would like to leave you with a quote of the day:
Pleasant words are like honeycomb,
making people happy and healthy.

Ahhh, away camp-I remember those memories :) Although, honestly I was never a girl who cared about her appearance or what others thought-I was just an extremely odd one xD
ReplyDeleteThat bracelet is too cute! I would never have guessed those were buttons!
