2 Tantrum Thusday

SPEED BUMPS.  

 

Can any of you see where I am going already??  I know the reason for speed bumps, I really do.  I also know that they - mostly - don't work!  There is a speed bump right in front of my home (you can see it in the Terrific Tuesday post.  Now most of the time a low speed limit also comes with the speed bumps, but that is for another Thursday!  

We love to watch the cars that go 30+ miles per hour over the speed bump and BOUNCE in their seats.  Then there is the cars that have to slow to 2 miles per hour and CUT from one side of the road to the other.  But my favorite have to be the cars that just HAVE TO avoid the speed bump.  These cars will actually go off the road, down and then up the drain ditch and then onto the sidewalk to avoid the speed bump.  This is the most hilarious thing to watch......they actually go over MORE bumps then if they just went of the speed bump in the first place!  Then there is the fun watching cars drive all the way around 2 or 3 rows of cars in a parking lot JUST to avoid a speed bumps!  

Do you avoid them?  I don't.  I am not sure if it is because I own a jeep or because I just can actually push the breaks and go over a speed bump without panicking, but I don't have a problem going over them.  

So who are you?  An 'avoider'?  A 'bouncer'?  A 'off roader'?  A ' just go over'r'?
