Another Thoughtful Thursday is upon us. Last week I talked about my Grandmother, and this week, I would like to talk about my mother! ALL that I am I own to my mother and father! I remember at a very young age going with my mom to our local quilt shop and sitting there listening and learning! I remember wearing homemade cloths to school and I remember eating homemade (homegrown) food every night! My mother (like me) knows how to do just about every handmade craft out there. As a kindergartner she taught me to bead and to share my gifts with others. By the age of about 10 I was already a consummate crafter! Even to this day my mother still beads, crochets, knits, cross stitches, quilts, tats, weaves, and so much more!!
My mom and dad bought Gilmore Looms many years ago and still produce beautiful handmade looms and accessories!! I have to tell you that I am VERY lucky to have grown up in such a creative home! And although it sounds cliche, my mother is truly my best friend!!

Today I have a new listing!!!! It is very hard to see, but the crystals are PURPLE in the spacers!!!
