Today is my baby - Monster's - 7th birthday!  It is also his first day back to school in over a week and he is so excited.  We have been talking about his birthday it seems like forever!  When he go the Chicken Pox we weren't sure if there would be a party or not! Well, he has been cleared by the doc, and off to school he goes today - so party we will (but not until Saturday)!!!  It is so hard to believe that it has been seven years!!

And there was this bracelet... it drew a bunch of attention!  I am not sure if it was the bright colors or the design, but for whatever reason it was 'famous' before it was even finished!! I had so much fun 'teasing' everyone with the working photos!  So, without further ado...

1 Terrific Tuesday

Well, the first day is OVER!  Aye loved her new teachers and classes - and YES, her locker!  Monster was such a BIG BOY and went to his new class all by himself!  The only really big glitch was that Monster's bus was about 45 minutes late coming home - thank goodness for cell phones and being able to call the school to find out what happened - just first day traffic!  Here is what they looked like - aren't they handsome?

It is a Terrific Tuesday, it really is!  I just have to show you these photos of my kids, this to me is the full meaning of summer and sleeping in!

This is a drawing that I have to show you all.  This was done by my 12 year old Best Friends' son.  He has been drawing more and more over the last year or so and I gave him this book to draw in!  While my Best Friend was working on some of her paintings, her son was doing this free hand!  He has NOT had any training or classes!  Can you believe it?  This drawing is simply beautiful!

2 Terrific Tuesday

On Wednesday we did something we have never done before - we went on a canoe run in Juniper Springs.  Now, before we started I read the reviews and most of them said it was a nice run and not very hard.  We found out that was from people that canoe and kayak every weekend!  This run is the 5th hardest in the state of Florida!!  I wasn't able to take photos - my camera isn't waterproof!  It was beautiful and very difficult.  Aye said the most wonderful thing.... 

The run beat us up, but we beat it!

After that it was back to the hotel for dinner, a swim and REST!!!

 Yep, that is me way in the back, in the hot tub!!

Today I have found an artist that just has me in total awe.  The detail and beauty of Sandy J Brooks artwork is just amazing.  I looked through her studio and actually choose 3 different pieces of art, but ended up narrowing down to this one.  This lifetime artist is one of those artists like myself that has a fine line between passion and obsession.  Just look at her artwork and you'll understand!  Don't forget to tell her where you heard about her!

9 Terrific Tuesday

OK, so you thought that yesterday was my BRAGGING day, right?  

Well, only partially right!  

I get to BRAG today even more!!!  

First off, let me brag about my daughter!  Last night was her end of the year Chess Club tournament.  Between the 2nd through 5th grades there were about 250 kids in the tournament.  My beautiful, talented, wonderful, smart young lady took 6th over all for the 4th and 5th grade level!!!

 Even her teachers and coaches were proud of her!

 She was moving so fast I barely got this photo!

 And here it is!!!

So, I am very very very proud of my children, and here are some more things I am proud of.  First, this wonderful review from blessedelements - goinggreen.  She found me through a hop and things have 'blossomed' from there.  PLEASE go read her review, it is amazing!  She has caught all the 'little' things that I try to do.  From the detail in my work to the detail in my packaging.  It is so very wonderful to know that people who purchase my items actually notice my work!  It is about so much more than JUST beading!!

NOPE!!  

Now I get to the feature that Artbeads has done on me.   The last set that I did as part of the blogger challenge has made it to their Fan Page!!!  I can't believe it!!  I am so excited!!  Then when I get over there to check it out I find out that many of the people want to have me write a tutorial - I guess that might be next on my list!  I am just amazed as how many have commented and viewed it!!!  YA HOOOOO!  Here is the set we are talking about!!
