1 Wonderful Wednesday

And here it is, Wednesday!

How did it get to Wednesday already?

I ended up helping out a friend yesterday, so the beads were put to the side... but today.....

Since yesterday was so busy I didn't get a chance to list anything new, but maybe I'll make up for it today by listing TWO items..... now that is an idea!  I did start working on this... 

Yes, it is a custom order, but it is still fun to make and watch the design grow!!

My featured artist is  TheKraftKottage.  I saw this little mushroom family on a collection and just 'fell in love'!  If you are a believer in fantasy and fairies - I AM - then you can just see this little family sitting in the woods somewhere!  This wonderful artist works in many mediums, but I have to say that this is my favorite!  I also just LOVE her studio name - lots of K's!   Please go check out her studio and other site.  Remember to support Handmade artists if you can!

2 Wonderful Wednesday

Is it really Wednesday already?  

Where did the week go?  

Well, IT IS Wednesday and IT IS a WONDERFUL day, so here we go!!

The last thing we did on our little mini vacation was 'go our separate ways'!  Yep!  Hubby and kids went to Wild Waters Water Park.    Although the kids had a wonderful time, because I wasn't there, there aren't any photos!  There were MANY stories and even my little Monster had NO fear when it came to climbing up 30+ feet into the air - over and over - to go down the water slides!  I think their favorite was the WAVE area. 

I was sooooo sore and tired from the day before that I ended up finding a bead store (thebeadstrand) and doing a little shopping.  Here is what I got - BEAUTIFUL!

So, WET and TIRED we all started our trip home.  Dinner was a must, then it was on to pick up our Ziggy and collapse at home for the night!  Over all, our vacation was WONDERFUL!  It had just the right measure of challenge, fun and nature.  And just for a bonus, beads!!

Today's featured artist is PaintingsOnPalmer.  I have fallen in love with this painting.  Although I like many of her works, this one just calls to me.  I am amazed with the talent and inspiration this artist finds in life.  Creative all of her life, it was the death of her sister that opened her eyes and life to watercolor painting.  Here work is so peaceful and inspiring to others that I just HAD to share.  Remember to tell her where you heard about her!
