2 Traditional Thursday 12/11/14 (Christmas Tree, Finished ACEO, and Frankly It's Cornish Maid)

Today I woke up 'in the spirit'!!!  I just have to say that!! For some reason - maybe it is because we decorated the tree last night - I woke up with the feeling of the Christmas season!! Here is our tree.....simple, but REAL this year (the kids talked me into it).

Now, to just channel this into my day!! :)

Finishing my ACEO's means I get to start a new creation!!  I am going to make a FIREWORKS bracelet!!  This should be fun and make the day fly by!! Here are the colors!!  You can come over to my Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page  were I post 'working' photos throughout the day!!

Here are the ACEO's I have finished for my Swap.  They are off to the UK - I hope the lady I am sending them to likes them!!

I have been telling you about Ms. Michelle from Frankly It's Cornish Maid,  and today I want to tell you more!! This great artist makes her blankets to our order - color and design.  And let me tell you, her designs are wonderful!! I just love all the piles of squares (or circles) she posts!  It really gives you perspective of how much it takes to make each blanket!!

AND, I am happy to announce - for her - that she has just been published!!  YEP!! The current issue of Love Crochet Magazine has her Fun Fungi pattern in it!!  And her pattern is even on the cover!!!  YEP!!  Now aren't you glad I introduced you to her.....you can say.... I knew her when!!! ;)

So make sure you go check her out - and tell her where you heard about her....

Today I would like to leave you with this thought;

Children think not of what is past, nor what is to come, but enjoy the present time, which few of us do.  ~Jean de La Bruyere

  1. I enjoy seeing everyone's trees but I sure miss those tinsel icicles. I still have about 7 boxes that I haven't used b/c I can't have a large, real tree since I got my German shepherd in 2006, but someday I will use them again. I love how trees look with them shimmering in the lights.
