What a day yesterday was!! Beading and quiet in the morning, then off to deal with the kids and then load (but great) movie to end the day. We recently bought Maleficent and How to Train the Dragon 2. We had to watch both of them when we go them, but last night we watched Maleficent again. I have to tell you that I really like that movie. It is not what you would expect - after growing up with the traditional Sleeping Beauty story, but let me tell you, I think I like this one better. It tells about why/how things happened and gives some 'human' aspects to the story. And How to Train a Dragon 2, it is just wonderful!!
I would encourage you to watch either one!! :)
Today's color is RED!! All these beautiful RED designs are available in my studio - check them out!! :)
So, the base/center is finished, now I am working on the straps. Please, come on over to my Fan Page, Google+ Page, or my Instagram Page; I post 'working photos' throughout the day!
Yesterday I introduced you to Mrs. Barbara Gillespie the photographer at B Gillespie Photography. Today I get to tell you a little more about her! She loves to 'feel' the art and does little to no digital changes in her work!! I love that. You can 'feel' where she was and what was going on!
Although she is mostly self taught she has learn a lot from her mother over the years. And like many artists she has passed her love of art and photography on to her daughter. Her daughter even owns a gallery in Lodi, California (only about an hour from where I grew up) that she shows her work at.
There are so many that are my FAVORITES....they all bring me home!! But, here are the few that rose to the top!! ENJOY and make sure you check out her sites and art.....you will fall in love with them!!
