0 Manic Monday 1/20/14 (Martin Luther King Jr, Denim Jade, and a Question)

Today we honor Martin Luther King Jr.  He has always held a very special place in my heart.  When I was young I did a very extensive report on him and I found out so many things about what he stood for and what he wanted for us (the people of the world) that it touched my heart.  So today as I sit and bead I will think back to the things I learned.

When my daughter and I went on a school trip we were fortunate enough to be able to also visit the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr memorial in Washington DC.  It was not finished and our tour was only allowed because on of the other students' aunt's was the overseer of the project, but it was amazing!  We were introduced to the artist that was working on (and created) the large statue in the memorial...what an honor!!

Do you know much about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr? Do you know what he stood for?  You might be surprised!!

I will try to get this one photographed, edited and listed for tomorrow, but, with one project finished it is time to start another one....

Here are the colors for the next bracelet I am making!  Remember to come on over to my Fan Page or Google+ page throughout the day to watch it grow!!
