2 Tantalizing Tuesday 7/9/13

So, who saw the big news yesterday??  Who entered to win the Prima Beads Class In a Box give-a-way already?? I have to say that it is just an amazing thing to get a box of goodies and be told.... have fun and enjoy making something!!  I have already explored everything in the box, thought up some creations and organized everything!!!!  Yep, I am a bead 'horder'!!

BUT, I still have LOTS to show you!! I DIDN'T show you the 'rest' of the box that was sent!!  This is what Prima Beads was sent for me to create with - this month!!

YEP, those are beautiful Stainless Steel findings.... and YES, I already have an idea for a couple of projects!!! But, keep watching, I'll show them as I make them!! If you are interested in seeing the WHOLE collection that they have....click on this....

Tomorrow I'll show off the tool kit I received....they fit WONDERFULLY in my hands!!

Today there are TWO new listings!  The first is fun and colorful!!  The Stainless Steel pendant says "
Happiness As You Desire".  This one is Happiness in a 'necklace'!!

The second one is a Earring/cuff.  This is all Sterling Silver and pure fun!! I have made several for my daughter and she just LOVES them!!  They are made to wear right 'along' the ear!!

And through this all I am still beading away each day!!  I left off with this photo last night... Remember, you can watch the creation grow on my Fan Page or Google+ page throughout the day!!

And now, I have a personal note!!  Any of you that follow me regularly know that my son has some difficulties in his life!! He recently went to a week long camp and did an amazing job!!  He has wanted to have a 'pet' for some time, but we have put it off because of his issues with keeping track of things and getting mad at things.  After he did so amazing at camp we decided to let him get a fish tank!  This for us - and him - is another BIG step!!  Although he is 8.5 in age there are many times in his day that he responds and considers life like a 2-3 year old.  So, having a large tank filled with 10 gallons of water in his room.... bigggggg step.

But, we have had the tank set up for almost a week so far and things are really doing well.  We did loose one fish the day after we actually got them (we had the tank set up for a day before we got fish), and that was a complete break down of emotions.  BUT, after a day or two he has stopped talking about it and has gone back to being attentive and attached to the fish in the tank.  Yes, they all have names and YES, he does sit and watch and talk to them.  He has spent more time in his room over the last week than he has in the last 2 years!!   SO, I thought I would show off his amazing tank and fish...he picked out EVERYTHING himself!!  I just can't say it enough, but I am so very PROUD of my Monster!!

I'll try to post updates every week or so.... just to let you know.

Today I would like to leave you with this thought;

Remember that anything worth doing is going to take longer than you think.

  1. Read your post yesterday about your fantastic surprize and thought I'd say "Congratulations". Now you can have even more beading fun!
    That's a fantastic big step for your son. He did a fabulous job on choosing everything for his fish tank. That's cute that he named all his fish.
