4 Terrific Tuesday 10/09/12

Well, after a day of running errands, cleaning house and doing laundry I actually got a chance to do a mini photo shoot.  And what I was able to come up with.... oh my!!!   I was so worried that the photos wouldn't show how great my 'little pumpkins' looked, but I think it turned out very nicely!!  One thing that doesn't show up in the photo is that the (battery) candle actually FLICKERS!!!  I did another YouTube video to show off the beading as it 'grows'.... you can watch it HERE!

I just couldn't resist making a collection for my Teal Necklace (Zaira) and for the Pumpkin Candle Holder.... what do you think???

****and this one was on the Front Page of ArtFire over the weekend!! ****

Today my featured artist is quiltcountry.   For over 18 years this amazing artist has been quilting and creating with fabric and yarn some great items.  I fell in love with this little hat, and then I saw the runner.... I just had to show them both off (keeping with the Pumpkin theme)!!  She does some great totes and backpacks too!  Please go check out her studio and remember to try to always support handmade artists.

Don't let weeds grow around your dreams.

  1. Oh My, I thank you for the kind words. I do love to create things from fabric (and yarn). There is something about a quilted item that just feels cozy- I am told my blankets become babies favorite and it warms my heart. Even totes and bags just feel good made from quilted cotton.
But I go on...thank you so much for featuring my shop!

  2. I still love that candle holder of yours and it looks even better on the candle! I can only imagine being there in person to see the flickering ^.^

Your two collections definitely showcase your work beautifully as well as all the other peoples'!
