2 Wonderful Wednesday 8/8/12

Oh my, talk about sore and tired!!  Last night I think I FELL into bed.... and I mean literally!!  Nothing like walking up and down hills and stairs all day to show you how out of shape you are!!  I think my HAIR hurt last night.  But, oddly enough it was a good hurt!!  I feel energized and ready for the day!!

Yesterday I was watching all the kids enjoy game time and class time so I decided to pull out the camps Perler beads.  Then, make a bracelet!!  Yep, I sure DID....but....then the kids saw!!!!  Now, today I will be teaching them how to make a simple two drop peyote bracelet that will be fun and and easy!

So there was an early morning run to Walmart for supplies this morning!!

Now, I was able to list something for today.....and it is another one from Grandmother's Stash!!  Just look at those glasses..... aren't they cute???

And now, for an amazing featured artist - SandraHealy.  Hand carving and painting these creations is such a talent.  This little guy looks like he could climb right off the page and only my back steps!  Each of her creations are hand made, so it make them ALL one-of-a-kind!  You just have to go look at her studio to see all the different animals, reptiles and birds she does.  If you would like to see the PROCESS that she goes through to make these, please see her Flickr Page.

Now, for a closing thought,

If you want to do something and you feel it in your bones that it's the right thing to do, do it.  Intuition is often as important as the facts!

  1. I know EXACTLY what you mean about the good hurt-I feel the same way when I have a really good workout. I LIVE for that pain ^.^

People thing I'm weird cause I love it so much...maybe I am? LOL

How fun that you got to teach something your so passionate about. Just think, you could have inspired someone and somewhere down the line, they may be just as passionate about jewelry as you are.

They'll look back on you and that bracelet you taught as a something of a beginning :)
