Well, I have done it!!!! I have listed my first pattern! I have been pondering selling my designs for a while and I have started!! The patterns are inspired by my original patters and designs. There are small changes, but I have still kept it in the spirit of the design. Unless you compare them - side-by-side - you'd never know!! So, the first one is the pattern of this recent bracelet:
Is there any of my bracelet designs that you are interested in me selling??

Now, on to the items I picked up at the bead show on Saturday.... I am so excited about getting started on a couple of these...
as you can see I picked-out some great items!! I love being able to pick out my focal beads. It is always nice to look through the boxes and find 'just the right' one. I actually get ideas while I am looking and often 'see' my design as I pick them out.

And then there is my featured artist; LaConchitaNaturals. I found this amazing artist on the Front Page of ArtFire in an amazing collection. Then, as I look through the studio I realized that there were so many beautiful, fun and 'soft' things to look at that it would be hard to pick just one!! I just love the catch phrase; 'Nature Knows Best', I think this says it best! This amazing artist also encourages you to get smart about all the product that you live with everyday. Please go check out this great studio and remember to support handmade artists!!

And now, to close with this thought;
"
If you're not overwhelmed and don't have a lot on your plate, you might
be wasting your time. Everyone needs to feel a little bit uncomfortable
to know that they're growing."
Oh man, you picked out some incredible pieces for your future designs! I can't wait to see what you do with them :)
ReplyDeleteI envision my pieces coming to life as I search through bits and bobbles I want to work with-It's pretty neat how designs take shape like that!
Congratulations on starting to sell your patterns. I've never tried bead weaving before, but I'd love to try that beautiful little girl/princess bracelet you created awhile back :)
I am glad I am not the only 'crazy' one to do that!! Do you also dream of beading?? oh, I think I went to far with that one?!?! :) I'll have the Ballerina Princess up in the next couple of days... keep watching!!!
