Oh my goodness, what a weekend we had!! My amazing daughter came home from camp very tired and happy (basically it was a great camp)!! Then we had some amazing family time and even went to lunch with my mom-in-law. That is the only thing I'll miss about the summer this year, the relaxing and unstressed weekends!! During the summer we are busy all during the week, but the weekends are for us. During the school year it seems like even the weekends are scheduled down to the minute, between 2 kids, hubby and my own things?!?!
Now, many of you have been asking me about my pink ribbon project.... is it done yet? is it ready to list? how did I finish it?? Well, the wait is over!!!

Let me tell you, after 2 restarts and lots of 'patience' over the weekend this one goes back into the pile for a few days. I will be pulling out another project shortly, but for now..... I think I need to do something else!! (you can see my 'working' photos on my Fan Page or Google+ page.

Today I have an amazing artist ChimeraThreads. Now most of you know that I CAN sew, I just prefer NOT to. I have never enjoyed using a sewing machine, but this great artist has turned sewing into an art!! There are so many cute creations in her studio that I had a hard time choosing just one to show off. But, this little bird just caught my eye! Having been crafting - in may forms - for most of her life it is easy to see that her talent is still growing!
