First, I want to say THANK you to all of you who voted for me and my Sun Catcher - WE WON!!!
I can't tell you how flattered I am. Now I have to choose the theme for our next challenge - that will be so much fun!! I want it to be something that may be a little 'off the wall' (like me)!! I'll let know when I have come up with it!
If any of you haven't seen them, I have been working on some NON GLUED frames for some beautiful gemstone centerpieces. Here are the three I have recently finished!
I am really enjoying making these - they are done completely FREE HAND. You can't make a pattern for them, they basically develop as you do them. Some of them - like the Wood Jasper - come together easily and are simple to design. Others like the Pink Agate take 5+ tries to actually come up with something that works and that I am happy with.
So, with all this in mind I have chosen to feature beachgrasscottage. This wonderful woman had turned a love of the beach into a lifetime business. With her mom at her side she has spent years combing the beaches and looking for that 'perfect' shell or piece of sea glass to put on her beautiful work. Please visit her studio or shop and look at her work - it is truly inspiring!
As you go about your Wonderful Wednesday please remember that it is when you are surrounded with rain and clouds that the rainbow is about to come out! ~KM
