I remember the first time I saw the show Toddlers & Tiaras. I was shocked by the parents on there, and the children. The mother was forcing a baby into a tiny ball gown dress and the baby was screaming her head off. These little girls would go walking down the carpet wearing tons of make up, ball gown dresses or mini skirts and high heels, huge hair and jewelry. It's crazy! These little girls are no older then 6.

I admit, I have put a tad bit of light pink eyeshadow on my girls (5 and 3) but they have never went out with it on and I'd never let them. They always want to use my make up when they see me put it on but the most I let them wear is just lip balm.

I'm a new GFC follower. I have a blog hop on my blog as well, if you'd like to link up. =D

www.adeliciousobsession.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15588115468158385953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3238789453199579672.post-83905531830002973232011-05-26T14:20:48.114-04:002011-05-26T14:20:48.114-04:00Thanks for being the parent! You are a hero!

Now about this post... I could not agree with you more. I live in NYC and believe me when I say I have seen it all!! Kids wearing make- up is only the beginning. Some parents have to draw the line between being a parent and being your child's friend. That's my opinion! At 5 and 6 things like this are unacceptable. Princess S. wants to wear colored lip gloss at age 2 and I put a stop to that while simply stating "Don't be in a rush to grow- up!".

Thank you for sharing this!
My Tantrum for today- http://bit.ly/lwqE7bQueen J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11025028731262301895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3238789453199579672.post-9927417627835774522011-05-26T07:34:17.541-04:002011-05-26T07:34:17.541-04:00Ohh Thank you soo much for mentioning my work! lov...Ohh Thank you soo much for mentioning my work! lovely post Thank you

mariapalitoMaria Palitohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05118554997234676394noreply@blogger.com
